We created the concept & design for a campaign that encourages Colorado State University’s prospective students to create their own college experience. While other universities encouraged prospective students to join their ranks, we invited students to find their own.
Colorado State University is one of many college campuses’ that sits along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Despite being continuously ranked for a trendy locale, admissions were regularly losing applicants to their rival University of Colorado. Our primary goal was to differentiate CSU and increase overall enrollment.
We changed both what we said to prospective students and how we said it, all the while disrupting the higher-ed status quo. Blending multi-format publications, bold color fields, and a new photography style we set to achieve an inspirational table-top appeal. In addition to updating the look and feel, we helped the admissions team revamped the entire recruitment process for prospective and incoming students.
Anecdotes aside, nothing speaks to the success of ‘Find Your State’ more than the numbers.
